Quick Start Guide

Start from the home page and search by location and plate number.

• Select the country and state or region where the plate is registered.
• Enter the plate number, then choose Search.
• Plater remembers the last location you selected on this device for faster searches next time.

On a plate page, you can view the social score and community reviews.

• Use the up arrow for a positive driver rating.
• Use the down arrow for a negative driver rating.
• Voting is available without signing in.

Some community features require sign-in to keep activity tied to real accounts.

• You need to sign in to post reviews or replies.
• You need to sign in to report content, watch plates, or enable email alerts.
• You can sign in with Google or by receiving an email magic link.

After signing in, you can post on a plate's wall.

• Choose an optional category such as Good Driver, Dangerous, or Parking.
• Write your review and choose Submit Review.
• You can reply to other reviews, like or dislike them, and report inappropriate content.

Use Watch on a plate page to add it to your dashboard.

• Your dashboard shows watched plates and their current scores.
• You can stop watching a plate from the dashboard at any time.

Use Email Alerts on a plate page to get notified when new reviews are posted.

• Alerts use your verified email address.
• You can turn off alerts from the plate page or dashboard.
